Best Shot Monday: Olivia and Little Red

Little Red with Olivia

In Tallahassee, I shoot for both the City of Tallahassee Animal Service Center and for Tallahassee Big Dog Rescue.  I do the photos for the city shelter in the play yard so I'm able to let the dogs off leash and play, which really makes for some great shots.  All Tallahassee Big Dog Rescue animals are in foster homes. TBDR does adoption booths at PetSmart every other Saturday, so I'm normally taking their photos in a little green space behind PetSmart.  Because of that, they have to stay on leash. This past weekend, I went to the home of TBDR founder DeeAnn Maxfield to photograph all the dogs she was fostering. We were still on leash since we were only taking out one dog at a time, but we got some fun shots just the same. This is my favorite of the day, sweet Little Red loving up on my daughter Olivia.  Little Red was rescued from the Florida Panhandle after Hurricane Michael along with several other dogs. She's a super sweet Pointer/Lab mix about a year old. She's available for adoption!
