Introducing the 10 10 10 Project!

Hi there! So as I've been home bound recovering from knee surgery, I've been working with a few online friends on a very special project....nine other online friends, to be exact, and together we make up the 10 10 10 Project, which is the brainchild of my friend Robin Norgren! The ten of us, all creative business owners, will be sharing our experiences by answering ten different questions. Each of us is hosting one question that each of us will answer on our blogs, and I wrote the question I'm hosting, as it's ever so challenging for me. My question? "The BALANCE question...what does it mean for you and how it is working for you?" Pretty apt for me, huh?

So just a little teaser for now. The project debuts May 1, so be sure to check back in Tuesday for the first answer the BALANCE question. For now, please hop on over to the project blog here, and view the awesome video Robin created about the project above!

Project 365 Taking a Little Knee Surgery Break!

Tags

I'm dealing with knee surgery this week and next so I'll be taking a little break from Project 365. I figured you'd probably not be interested in the daily view from my couch! Here's one photo I took earlier this weekend of some fun tags the girlies and I are making as part of an upcoming Mermaids and Mamas accordian book project! I'll share more of these later once I can get back on my feet!

Things have been super crazy in my world lately so I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do Mermaids and Mamas this year, but my Mermaids have convinced me!  Mermaids and Mamas Artful Adventure 2012 is on!  Dates are May 19-20, and registration is $100 per person. Project 365: April 4-10

Every Easter, my husband's extended family gathers down at the family lake place in Keystone Heights.  It's such a great time and I love watching my girls get to know all these cousins on their daddy's side of the family.  All these shots are from the lake.

And lastly, this year's prize egg finder. Every year, we collect money for the prize egg (over $300 this year), which is hidden raw. The finder of the egg gets the pot, but only after the raw egg is broken over his head.

If you'd like to see more of our shots from the lake, you can see them here on my Facebook page. We got some great shots! Thanks for stopping in this week. Click here to see all my Project 365 posts.

Happy Easter to You...From a Little Redheaded Artist

Happy Easter from Sarah

Easter around here means the celebration of Jesus and a trip down to the lake.  Benny's family has a lake place down in Keystone Heights, and ever year, tons of cousins and friends gather down there for Easter.  We have a huge Easter egg hunt and lots of good food with friends and family.  This year Sarah wanted to paint a picture to take to the lake for the lake house, so this Easter holiday weekend also involved some painting!  I hope you are enjoying a wonderful holiday weekend.  Be blessed.

Project 365: March 28-April3

I cannot tell a lie.  I confess I simply do not have the fortitude to take a photo a day every single day.  Just ain't happenin'.  Oh well, I shall trudge along at least sharing seven photos a week on Wednesdays. This week I shall inundate you with photos of my redheads, some of which actually were taken this week! Now, if I could inundate you with photos of my redheads EVERY week, then that I could accomplish, but you'd probably run screaming into the woods.  :-)

I really am doing other things around here, just haven't had time to share them! The Springtime Tallahassee Arts Jubilee this past Saturday was awesome, great sales, fine weather with just a few passing sprinkles to keep us cool, old friends and all my favorite college food fixes!
